Hi! Hello! How are you? Do you remember me? Do you remember this website? Do you remember a time when people visited websites that weren’t owned by some social conglomerate or were simply collections of content originally posted by other websites that also posted collections of content? Do you remember accessing these websites on actual computers, instead of sentient telephones?

Well, anyway, I’m here now again, and I’m really glad you are too. I started doing this show over 11 years ago, before podcasting was even a thing. It’s been six months since my last show, which is the longest gap I’ve ever had in production, and I totally hated not doing it. But life was busy, and my computer was dead, and the one thing about Computer Resurrection is that it costs money, and I didn’t have any.

So, I hope this finds you well. Be sure to check out Ormonde, the amazing duo I got to interview. Buy all their music, and maybe stalk them a little bit, too.

Four Portland music videos

September 18th, 2012

The final two weeks of summer have seen four Portland bands releasing music videos. I posted last week about those by The Helio Sequence and Parenthetical Girls, and today about the ones for Pure Bathing Culture and the Corin Tucker Band. Go forth and watch!

Also, I’ve got a couple new podcast episodes in the works, one will be out later this week, the next by month’s end!

New Bob Mould video

August 22nd, 2012

I recently had the opportunity to be an extra in a video directed by Alicia J. Rose for Bob Mould. I talked with Alicia after it was finished, and wrote about her thoughts + my experience for my friends over at opbmusic. Head over there, watch the video and read all about it!
