Hi Dave,
Great show, however you need to tag the mp3’s a bit more then they’ll show up in sites like last.fm when folks like me play them. Just listened to show 44 but it hasn’t showed up in last.fm due to problems with the tags. I looked and the Artist shows as “Unknown Artist” and the track number shows as 0 etc. Doing this will give you a better profile and hit count on last.fm….
All the best

Laurence:
That’s funny that you’re not able to see the id3 tags, becuase I’m always REALLY fastidious about putting them in, track numbers, artwork and all. I just doublechecked #44, and the tags are all there. What mp3 software are you using?
I’ve noticed on my last.fm account that sometimes podcasts I listen to don’t scrobble, but songs do. I think it might have something to do with their length? I believe that the default setting on the last.fm software is to “scrobble at 50%,” or when you’ve listened to the song halfway through. Maybe because of their length, sometimes the software “forgets” to send the track info by time it gets to the halfway point…
Thanks for listening, and for letting me know about the problem you were having. How did you hear of the show?
