My, what a busy summer it’s been! Two music festivals, lots of bands in-studio, and a move back to Portland. Things are finally starting to settle in for me here, and I’m looking forward to returning to some regularly scheduled programming (ie, I play you the new music that I found and liked this week).

But, some other exciting news! I’m finally doing some radio as a paid gig, at opbmusic.org! You can listen online, I’ll be playing music on the stream there often, and occasionally filling in for Jeremy Petersen’s excellent show, In House, on Saturday and Sunday nights from 9 to midnight on the regular stations of OPB. Actually, I’ll be doing that this Saturday night, if you’re inclined to listen. I’ve been blogging over there the last couple of weeks, and started with an introduction, telling my brief autobiography as relates to music and radio.

Congrats on the OPB gig! Great autobiography post. In House is a great show. As for this wonderful show, I’m really digging The Broken West and Okkervil River. I might just have to pick up their albums.
